Nothing original to add. I met WFB twice, and he was gracious and charming when he had no reason to be. His secretary, Frances Bronson, was a character with a deft hand at handling interview requests from high school and college kids. While I greatly enjoyed WFB's writing when I (and he) were younger, in later years it became apparent that WFB could, as he boasted, write a column in 20 minutes and that wasn't a good thing.
